Moderna surged in Wednesday premarket trading after a late-stage cancer vaccine trial with Merck posted positive results. Lowe's fell about 2% after pointing full-year sales and earnings to the bottom of its prior range.

The personalized vaccine, used with Merck's Keytruda, showed benefit in a late-stage study. Moderna was up as much as 57% in the premarket session. Merck gained just over 6%. The companies have not said when they will file for U.S. approval.

Lowe's also missed second-quarter revenue. The home-improvement chain said spending in the category remains under pressure.

Estée Lauder rose more than 7% after fiscal fourth-quarter earnings and sales beat FactSet estimates. The company guided fiscal 2027 earnings to $3.10 to $3.35 a share, inside the Street range of $2.95 to $3.42.

Elsewhere, Marvell gained more than 11% after saying Google can buy a $12 billion stake as part of a custom-chip deal. Analog Devices and Keysight also rose on results that beat forecasts. La-Z-Boy dropped almost 17% after a weak quarter and a current-quarter sales outlook below estimates. Target slipped 1.5% even after raising full-year guidance, helped by a $752 million tariff-refund gain.

Toll Brothers rose just over 1% on a third-quarter beat. Mercury Systems fell more than 9% after adjusted fourth-quarter earnings missed by a cent.
